In the Fall, Earth tilts her slumbering head,

Upon God’s loving chest,

Like tottering head, Of weary child,

Upon her mother’s breast.

Though a chill may be, In earnest now,

A quiet repose we know,

That as a child awakens,

Soon Spring returns to glow.

Take this peaceful time of season,

And Winter’s season, too,

To count God’s blessings upon your life,

And all He’s given to you!!
