Elementary School Report Cards, From the days of the long gone by,
When life was new and sad days few, A happy lad was I!!
Guided through, These early years, By loving teachers who,
Paired with parents, Together were one, Tried to teach this lil’ “Magoo”!!!
In “Recess”, heck, I got all A’s, In “Lunch” I was the Champ!
It’s just that getting, Near to books, Was a place I’d seldom camp.
But, overall, I’m grateful for, Each educator’s heart,
Through this thick skull, An empty hull, They’d teach this lil’ upstart!!! 😉
